Steps to unsend a imessage on iPhone

If you are a user of iphone then you definitely know that whenever you send a message through the iMessage app, it takes time while delivering this delay depends upon your WIFI or internet speed or on your network signals.

Mostly, the voice messages and images take more time than a text message. So, if you feel like you have sent the wrong message, you can unsend it before it gets delivered to the recipient mobile. Here is a complete process for unsend a message.

  1. Press the message icon on the menu to open Messages, open a receipt, and create a new text message. Plus, It’s easier to practice with photos (as this takes longer to send) but any text will do.
  2. Tap to send the message.
  3. Quickly swipe up from the bottom of your screen to bring up the Control Centre.
  4. Tap Airplane Mode to on.
  5. Swipe down to get rid of the Control Centre and return to the Messages app. If you turn on airplane mode quickly then you will see a red mark that shows the message is not delivered next to the text or image.
  6. Now you’ll see that your sent picture or message will be marked red and have a sign of “not delivered”.
  7. After this, tap and hold the message for seeing “more” options.
  8. You can delete the entire conversation or the selected text by clicking on the trash or bin icon. Trash icon will delete only one message while another option named “Delete all” will delete all your texts from the conversation window.

Conclusion

So after deleting your unwanted message before delivering it you are good to go and your mistakenly sent message has been deleted now. Note that this feature is only available for messages that have not yet been read by the recipient. If the recipient has already read your message, then there’s no way to take it
