Thermaltake Core P1 Review

The Core P1 is extremely popular among people , especially in the water cooling crowds because of their open but unique design. So when the Core P1 was announced at CES I immediately reached out to check one out. An ITX case might be a little better. So for a while now I have been toying around with the Core P1 and today I’m going to talk about it.

The Core P1 designed a beautiful, cutting edge looking computer case that offers all the benefits and protection. A tempered glass mini tower while looking modern and sleek from every perspective is the Thermaltake Core P1.

The Core P1 is the first case of  thermaltake’s best selling tempered glass series, this new model provides unprecedented protection for your components. It maximizes both airflow and capacity to make it an ideal enclosure. Not only for sim racers at home but also gamers around the world can get a great benefit from this case.

The thermaltake Core P1 provided a unique factor of having a different shape from standard case. The Core P1 TG Mini ITX makes a stunning display for high-end enthusiast builds without sacrificing performance and taking up too much desk space.

Design

The 5 mm thick tempered glass window guarantees the durability of the window and the most exciting panoramic viewing. With the enlarged window design, users get to access the ultimate visual presentation and admire all components of the liquid-cooling system.

Designed for use in three different ways: Wall-mount, vertical, and horizontal placement. Users can hang it on the wall as decoration, take it to wherever they want and display the nice builds vertically or horizontally for one of the best viewing presentations while ensuring outstanding cooling performance.

Thermaltake can make your gaming system beautiful by manufacturing Core  P1 with an incredible design and functionality coupled with stunning aesthetics. The 5mm thick tempered glass and stainless steel pillars panels protect the chassis while providing easy access to the components. This is all possible without sacrificing cooling performance.

The Core P1 is a mid-tower and comes with the dimensions 16.6 x 15 x 13.1 inches. With the Premium-quality 5mm thick tempered glass it looks thin but heavy so it ensures the durability and gives strength to the case. The glass windows allows users to fully display every RGB component of the system. Unlike any other cases on the market, the enlarged glass window permits users to fully display every interior component of the system and show off their dedication and skill set.

Motherboard Compatibility

Motherboard is one of the most important parts of a gaming CPU and the form factors  for the motherboard are the Size And Shape. As  any motherboard can’t fit into any chassis. It depends upon the length and width dimensions so to make sure your motherboard will be compatible with the case, you will need to look at what socket and chipset is in your case.

The motherboard compatibility for thermaltake Core P1 is compatible with mini ITX. Having an ATX or mini ITX form factor water cooling case means you will have more room. A better number of ports and space will offer you promising results and looks you always wanted. Always select a case according to the motherboard compatibility.

Tt LCS certified

Tt LCS Certified is a Thermaltake exclusive certification applied to only products that pass the design and hardcore enthusiasts standards that a true LCS chassis should be held to. The Tt LCS certification was created so that we at Thermaltake can designate to all power users which chassis have been tested to be best compatible with extreme liquid cooling configurations to ensure you get the best performance from the best features and fitment. The Core P1 is Tt LCS certified mini ITX and fulfills all the requirements like a standard ATX.

Cooling system

Thermaltake designed core P1 with the supreme support of water and air cooling systems. As these are highly effective cooling systems that cools your system in heavy usage and provide smooth operations. The gamers prefer it because of the cooling method as it cools their gaming PC while playing their favorite AAA game.

Native AIO Support

Thermaltake allows the users to build a complete thermal solution, including DIY/AIO liquid-cooling systems and air-cooling units. The Core P1 case is built with an advanced ventilation system and supports up to two 120mm fans on the left side and up to a 240mm radiator. It is supported for radiator size 1x 120 mm/ 2 x 120 mm (240mm) of All-In-One liquid cooling solution without the need for an extra bracket.

Dismantlable Modular Design

The Core P1 open frame chassis enables users to freely build the system from the ground up with given modular panels, racks, brackets, and pre-design mounting arrays. No more unreachable screw corners or gaps and enjoys installation in a breeze with Dismantlable Modular Design.

The user can Freely build the system from the ground up with modular panels, racks, brackets, and pre-design mounting arrays without unreachable screw corners or gaps.

GPU Orientation

The graphic card is the crucial component of a gaming PC, the gamers are very concerned with the selection of a GPU  so thermaltake designed a special space for GPU in Core P1. The user shows off the graphic card within a special space.

PSU Orientation

Power supply is the most important thing for a PC as the power supply cables are connected properly then the entire computer system will run. In Core P1 there is a special place for power supply cables, it has the support of vertical PSU layout. The users can build their CPU with 180mm the maximum length of PSU and a mini riser cable also included in this case.

Maker Movement

The maker movement is a cultural trend that places value on an individual’s ability to be a creator of things as well as a consumer of things. By practicing the idea of “maker movement” as well as 3D printing,

Thermaltake designs the open frame panoramic viewing chassis as users can access and do their own mods as well as print out their ideas using liquid cooling components and manuals without boundaries. Users can download 3D printing accessory files on 3D Makers Microsite, printing them out to do a special mod.

Storage Management

Another benefit of a computer case is the maximum storage capacity. You can manage to fit several HDDs and SSDs into your system easily. As much as the installation of the case is easy, the support for storage must also be incredible. This way, you can save as much data as you want on your system. The “1+3” drive trays are included and hidden in the back panel that offers 45mm of cable management space. Total 2 Accessible 2.5” + 1 Hidden 2.5” + 1 Hidden 3.5” or 2.5” behind M/B Tray.

Connectivity Ports

The connectivity ports are three ports for connectivity, USB 3.0 x 2x and 1x HD audio ports are available on the front panel. This is convenient for the user to connect various components with their system without any obstruction.
